HOMA BAY: 8 Teachers Arrested for Alleged Exam Irregularity

Eight teachers from Pala Masogo Secondary School in Homa Bay County have been arrested on Monday for alleged photocopying Chemistry exam paper. Police have detained the teachers include school manager, invigilators and other teachers in Homa Bay Police Station.

Homa Bay-Sub County Police Commander, Emmanuel Kiplagat, have confirmed the arrests. The faulting was intended for a student who was hospitalized. 

The commander also noted the eight are still detained to undergo arraignment process.

The officials from Ministry of Education have replaced all the entire invigilators to ensure that all 119 candidates are not disrupted during examinations.
