Inside President Ruto's meeting with Mt. Kenya leaders ahead of regional tour

  President Ruto, DP Kindiki with Mt. Kenya leaders at State House, Nairobi President William Ruto on Monday had a  crucial consultative meeting with Mt. Kenya leaders of next week planned area tour. Leaders attended include; Deputy President Kithure Kindiki, governors, principal secretaries and cabinet secretaries. According to Statement, State House noted that the meeting focused on d evelopment projects aimed at accelerating growth, addressing local needs and ensuring that all Mt. Kenya residents benefit from the government’s agenda. In the discussions, leaders also reviewed several stalled projects before Ruto official launch. They also raised concerns over increase in water tariffs across counties urging that the rising costs were making essential commodity unaffordable for various residents. Wamuchomba: Ruto is populist, do not believe what he says

Githunguri MP Gathoni Wamuchomba Githunguri Member of Parliament Gathoni Wa Muchomba has abandoned President William Ruto's political manifesto to Kenyans. The MP has also criticised that all he does is promising popular projects and unable to implement. Speaking in an interview at Citizen Digital, Wamuchomba labelled Ruto's promises to provide chapatis to school children in Nairobi is unrealistic and populist. “We have a president who is a populist, and unfortunately, this does not augur well. National Police Service Commission on 13th March, 2025 released a press statement to the public regarding the promotion of Gazetted Officers after long years of stagnation. The Commission on 10th March, 2025 held a meeting and received recommendations for promotion of police officers from Inspector General of Police. Public Service Cabinet Secretary Justin Muturi's Democratic Party of Kenya (DP) has officially written a 30-day notice letter to Registrar of Political Parties to exit Kenya Kwanza Coalition party. "Kindly take notice that our stay in Kenya Kwanza Coalition is no longer tenable due to the prevailing political differences. Democratic Party of Kenya, vide this letter, hereby gives a thirty (30) day notice to exit the Coalition as stipulated in the Termination Clause (8)  in the Coalition Agreement, " reads the notice. KUSCCO Theft: How Kenyans Scamed Sh13Billion Saccos Cash

Kenya Union of Savings and Credit  Cooperatives (KUSCCO) has brought to light of the public after falsely multi- billion fraud losses. This comes after audit report by PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC) that KUSCCO forged auditor's signature.  Approximately a total of 247 Saccos across the country at risk of loosing their funds.  KUSCCO has been exposed in financial irregularities including; falsified profits to cover financial troubles, manipulated financial records to hide losses, contracts awarded to firms linked to top managers, large scale bribery involving top executives and unexplainable bank withdrawals.  In May, 2024 KUSCCO board was fired after auditor revealed Sh6b illegal funds withdrawn. State Clarifies the Sale of Bomas of Kenya

"I am therefore shocked by the allegations made by former Deputy President with regard with sale of Bomas of Kenya to a Turkish national. The State Department for Culture, the Arts and Heritage stands to categorically rufute this allegation. Bomas of Kenya has not been sold to anyone." Former Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE) Chief Executive Officer, Geoffrey Odundo has been appointed as new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Nation Media Group PLC.
