 President Ruto Leaves for Burundi to Attend 23rd COMESA Summit President William Ruto, on Thursday morning has left the country to attend the heads of state of COMESA and government in Bujumbura.   According to State House Spokesperson, Hussein Mohamed; ''The President will engage in high level discussion aimed at bolstering Kenya's relationships with key strategic partners with a particular focus on strengthening regional value chains to deepen COMESA Intergrations,'' the statement reads. This year's summit celebrates a 30th anniversary of COMESA themed: 'Accelerating Regional Integration through the Development of Regional Value Chains in Climent Resilient Agriculture, Mining and Tourism.'  97 Women Killed in the Last Three Months, DCI Reveals DCI Boss Mohamed Amin PHOTO // COURTESY On Wednesday, Deputy Inspector General of Police, Eliud Kipkoech Lagat who brought to attention over femicide crimes which the National Police Service disclosed that at least 97 women have been killed in the last three months. ''These troubling trends highlight the urgent need of focused action and collaboration to tackle the widespread problem of gender-based violence in our society,'' Mr. Lagat said. During a press briefing, Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) boss Mohamed Amin appeared to contradict on the matter of femicide. He further insisted that the crime is not gender-based. ''We are not saying there is deliberate effort to target women. Majority of cases we investigated, the motive is purely criminal.  Mombasa: KDF Officer Found Guilty of Defiling a 16-Year-Old Girl George Odhiambo Owino, Kenya Defense Forces (KDF) found guilty of defiling a 16-year-old girl in Likoni. The officer was based at Mtongwe Naval Base.  Owino narrated that she was his neighbor and thus told if she would agree to be his girlfriend, he will promise to pay her school fees. During that time, the girl was in Form Two. The Mombasa Court has found the victim accused of defilement between 3rd July and 16th November 2020. The girl told the court that Owino used to go their house when her mother was at work and have sex on her mother's bed. ''They have done sex for four times and later around August 2020, she was discovered pregnant.'' The court papers read. Owino used to send her younger children to their aunt and remain with the 16-year-old girl alone in the house to have sex. However, she gave birth on April 2021 and promised to take care of her.  REVEALED: Suspect Linked to Brutal Murder in Eastleigh Detained in Custody for 9 Days On Monday, 27th, Detectives from Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) had successful identified the suspect for the murder of 3 in Eastleigh whose bodies were discovered in different places.  According to DCI they displayed the image Suspect Hashim Dagane Muhumed, 24, who's believed to be the driver of the abductions. The suspect will remain in custody for 9 days for further investigations. This comes after the detectives presented the suspect to Makadara Law Court asking for more days to detain him with help of nabbing suspect Hashim Dagane Muhumed. At the court, journalists were not allowed to take any photos of the suspect since he wasn't identified by the witnesses. DCI have asked public to provide any information related to the suspect that could helped them find other suspects.

Githinji expressed the feeling that she might face the same fate. Endometriosis is a condition where tissue similar to the uterine lining grows outside the uterus.  REVEALED: Inside the Murder of 3 in Eastleigh A cloud of shock and fear has raised as Mother, Daughter and Niece were brutally murdered in Eastleigh where their bodies were dumped in Nairobi and Machakos. It was unveiled that the 3 were abducted before been killed. According to the police report, they disappeared on Monday night, Wasir Daud (mother), Amina Abdirashid (daughter) and Nuseiba Dahir (niece). The 22year old was stubbed severally through her heart leading to her death while the mother's hand was chopped off several injuries on the neck and the niece suffocated due to the dark closed room they were. The mother's body was found in Machakos, daughter in Parklands and the Niece in Bahati.  The CCTV footage showed the vehicle which was used for abductions discovered at Ukulima Market in Kamukunji, Nairobi while the driver left. DCI: How Suspect Mwenda, Firearms Recovered in Meru Photo Courtesy (DCI Facebook) Police officers from Kathare Police Station have successful arrested suspect Fredrick John Mwenda associated in robberies in the area of Buuri East, Meru County. With officers working with community members, detectives raided to Mwenda's home in Maili Tano Village, Ruiri Rwarera location, Buuri Sub-County. The officers discovered a sterling assault rifle with its buttstock missing and barrel shortened. They also discovered 18 rounds of 5.56 mm ammunition and a magazine wrapped in a nylon bag cleverly concealed in a basin full of clothes. John Mwenda has been taken into a custody and is currently being processed for arraignment.

CA - KRA to Track Mobile Phone Dealers for Tax Compliance Communications Authority of Kenya (CA) has issued a public notice that mobile phone dealers, manufacturers and other stakeholders in phone business industry to link their devices with Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) Tax portal system. According to Communications Authority of Kenya (CA) Director General David Mugonyi stated that by 1st January 2025, all mobile phones will be linked to a Tax Compliance system by KRA. Mr. Mugonyi directed all mobile phones imported by importers to disclose International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) number for each device to KRA. This process will start by 1st November 2024.  Two KDF Officers Taken in Custody for Brutal Murder of UoN Student, Mercy Rufani On Wednesday, Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) have successful arrested two Kenya Defense Forces (KDF) officers for a brutal murder of a 26-year-old female student Mercy Rufani from University of Nairobi.  According to the DCI report, the two suspects; Fred Mathenge Kanja and Joseph Ngera Kamau based in Embakasi are believed to be in contact with the girl before she died. Previously on 28th September 2024, Mercy went missing from home in Pipeline Embakasi and later found dead in a thicket in Mwiki, near Kasarani. Her parents' effort to find their daughter failed until they reported the matter to police. On that day at night, suspect Joseph Ngera picked Mercy from her home with Mazda KDL 796L and proceeded to his home in Komarock.  REVEALED: How Wells Fargo HR Boss Found Dead After Missing A well-known security firm, Wells Fargo's Human Resources Manager, Willis Ayieko found dead after missing for five days. On Wednesday morning, his body was located near a stream Nyamninia sub-location Gala Yaya, Siaya county. Ayieko went missing on Friday 18th October 2024 after attending a burial in North Gem location. Later his Orange Ranger double-cabin pickup vehicle was abandoned near a petrol station in Sabatia, Vihiga county.  President Ruto is Challenging High Court's Powers to Determine Petitions Following the Ouster of Gachagua 📷 William Ruto & Rigathi Gachagua (Facebook) President William Ruto has demanded the High Court to hit upon the petitions of DP Gachagua Impeachment says that the court lacks Jurisdiction to listen and determine the case. Mr. Gachagua and other petitioners demanding the impeachment process stating lacking enough public participation to substain allegations against him. Petitioners David Mathenge, Peter Kamotho, Grace Mwangi, Clement Muriuki and Edwin Kariuki filed a court petition to prevent Kithure Kindiki from taking office. Ruto's lawyer, Adrian Kamotho said the petitions violate provisions of Article 143(2) of the 2010 Constitution. However, Mr. Ruto want the cases to be derailed stating that they against the Law and abuse of court processes.

 A 23-Year-Old Student Discovered Dead in Thika  A 23-year-old female student Seth Nyakio Njeri has been found dead at rental house of her friend in Biafra, Thika in Kiambu county. The victim was found naked with some injuries on her neck. Detectives are investigating the murder.  Seth was a graduate at Zetech University where she left home at Kamakis on Sunday morning. On Saturday, her mother said they were still communicating before living home there her calls and messages went unanswered. In a video report seen at Citizen TV, Lucy Njeri, a mother to the victim said; ''I saw visible injuries on the neck, it was horrible to see that, she was the one I had.'' She added that later she received a call from Njeri's friend that she was dead, It is suspected that her boyfriend seduced and killed her.
